Instead, I’m talking about the recently developed trend which sees couples abandoning the traditional wedding cake in favour of a ‘cheese cake’.
Visually, and from a distance, the cheese cake could easily be mistaken for a typical cake. Yet a closer inspection will reveal that in fact the ‘cake’ is composed of different sized wheels of cheese which are stacked to form tiers.

The rich and vintage wedding pieces, robes and accessories transformed the classic gallery completely and took every visitor 80 years back in time. Wedding photographs in black & white as well as numerous chic flower bouquets added to the historic flair and brought back the feel of the 20s and 30s. Every visitor was enchanted by the ambiance and the opportunity to discuss their upcoming wedding over a glass of champagne. From wedding websites and online advice, to handmade lace and diamond studded tiaras, this event had it all for the modern-day vintage bride.
We loved meeting all you future Brides & Grooms (and quite a few mothers of the Bride or Groom!). Thank you so much for coming out!
Summer 2010 in this stunning French Château!

I know I’ve posted some of these photos before, but I just have to post them again because there has been a rental cancellation, and this amazing château is now available from now (June) until the end of August 2010 at a fantastic rate!! This château has been the set of several movies, and a “summer home” to many a Hollywood actor/actress.
Here you can hold a Marie Antoinette themed wedding with all the details from her “époque”, or simply have the private château honeymoon of your dreams. Within 35 minutes of the center of Paris and 35 minutes from Giverny and Monet’s Gardens, in the area surrounding this château you can enjoy golfing, biking, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, tennis, and more…
